It would be neat to see implemented BUT then whenever the forum software gets updated for whatever reason, the forum admin has to spend time reinstalling the Mod - each and every update. Also, the Mod is in German, not English - I think that is what romfis meant. :) Otherwise, I'd put it onto one of...

Why not be nice to the UK/World members and zoom it out defaultly to world? :) Who ever made this it was a nice idea. -Tanner Hi Tanner - I don't know if the default zoom can be changed; I would have already put it out to world view if I could. Some of my teammates, and many of my best friend/oppon...

This discussion again? ;) I think Brick Majors had some interesting ideas. Also, dmp/DB's "no scores til the end of the match" would be neat. Being a flag addict, I've always wondered just how many points I would get because of my addiction. :) It would be a lot. Lifetime, I bet I would ra...

So, we'll see you (and yo...

Back in (League) action

Hi all - Well, it's been a while since I played on a league team, but recently I recieved a large cash payment, some stock options, a new sailboat, and an offshore bank account in the Caymans from Death Barrel as an inducement to join HoW, so I decided that, as much as I'd like to take his money and...

Resigned from TDS

Hi all - I have decided to go ahead and resign from TDS. I have not been on and playing with any of the team members in a really long time, we are either playing at different times, or some are not playing much. I am not playing as much either. I saw calico a few weeks ago, and he said he's addicted...

CTF with version 1.10

UPDATE: Up to 4 people per team now, and 3 shots. Why not also allow "continent" teams? This way, people like dmp or others from smaller countries/countries with lesser per capita representation in "bzworld" can still be involved, and I don't think it would detract from the overall play. IIRC, most players are from North America...

Was discussing the Tug variant on IRC yesterday in respect to how much code would need to be written should anyone want to undertake the idea (if I could write code, I'd do it myself - but you'll be waiting a year or two if that has to happen, I don't know how (yet) :) ). IIRC, the things that would...

"Field leveling" variants of CTF - idea

In CTF right now, each team has their own flag which they try to avoid having captured, while capturing the other teams flag. Because of the nature of multi-player open games, teams are often uneven and unbalanced, and when a flag is captured, the team whose flag is captured is immediately put at a ...

Re: BZFlag Guidelines - A gentlemen's agreement

IMO, (or How I Try To Play The Game): :) Whether to capture the flag or not when teams have different player numbers I think there are a couple of variables: 1) Relative strength of teams - if the team with less people is composed of stronger players, it's probably OK, but *ASK THEM* (to be polite),...
