zaphod:

you can now disable the team messages (v2.1). if you're compiling your own, change line 51 from:

msg = true;
to:
msg = false;

so the plugin defaults to silent (which I think is what you want).

thanks for the feedback!

clarification

Will this map have rico or another way for the player to kill themself without pressing delete?

I'm not sure how to determine whether you killed yourself via delete or by shooting yourself. Other than that, it shouldn't be too hard.

you're running bzadmin, not bzflag. that screenshot shows the expected behavior for bzadmin, which means everything probably works. just run bzflag.exe instead.

use the libcurl.dll from the standard windows install of bzflag, not the .dll from sourceforge - this should fix the zlib1.dll problem

I'm assuming you're using the express edition. I was running into the same problems using 2005, and this solved it. Open corewin_express.vsprops in notepad. (%Program Files%\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\VC\VCProjectDefaults) change this: AdditionalDependencies="kernel32.lib" to this AdditionalDependenc...

Well, the check for death frequency vs spawn frequency is the only thing this plugin does, and since that's now in bzfs, I'd recommend just updating to the latest 2.0 version. One problem I didnt' notice when writing it is that it will only work if the same player is targeted for each false (tk) dea...

anti_tk_cheat: prevent cheaters from getting you tk kicked

Several times on dub pillbox, I've seen a player join, and have their client tell the server that their teammates were tking them, so that all their teammates were kicked. This plugin aims to prevent this (or at least make it more difficult/time consuming). Here's the README: anti_tk_cheat plugin ve...

this is not the plugin you're looking for

I believe you're referring to the fairCTF plugin, found here: http://my.bzflag.org/bb/viewtopic.php?t=6776 This is a different plugin, written by me. Since I don't have a mac to build this plugin, if you want it, you'll have to build it yourself. However, from reading through the other thread, the o...

My version

I've just released my Fair4CTF plugin.
