While at http://bzstats.strayer.de/servers/stats/?lang=en I noticed that BZFS is listed as the protocol and most of the servers on the list server ( http://my.bzflag.org/db/ ) start with BZFS, expect that there is/are some servers at rahab.fairserve.net that are listed as GCWZ0221. I am not sure but something appears to be very wrong. I disabled autobot and played on my own server. After I killed those bots, they are way up and not coming down. To tell people what other servers exist and where the users are.

Server List question - different version of bzflag

Currently in Bzflag, the list server list only servers that you can connect to.

But in for example OpenTTD, even while you can not connect to the sever - the list shows what version the server will only accept.

Why can't BZflag do the same?

Yes, those seem to be hard coded. You can change the behavior if you'd be okay with modifying the code and compiling. The actual handling of quick keys is in the doKeyPlaying function in playing.cxx and the menu text is defined in QuickKeysMenu.cxx . A simple change might just be changing the code ...

Without anyone needing to setup a server, after getting the file, in the file look for the keyword weapon and see that it/they says trigger oncap. And other that, no other weapons are preset.

Looks like you were going for the "Classic" BZFlag sort of feel. Are all the blocks weaponized? It looks like based on the screenshot your tank will explode if touching them and I didn't pull up the world file yet.
