Solution:

I uninstalled then located and deleted all local files left on the hard drive then reinstalled again. All's good.

For the last couple days I've gotten a black screen on startup (with the local submenus for chat, etc) Is part of the BZ infrastructure down? I'm running 2.4.26 on a Windows 10 box. I did an uninstall and reinstall. I did not delete residual files if they might be corrupt.

I had gamma problems running BZ flag. Could not get the screen bright enough. I had run a logmein session earlier today, and it turns out that Logmein installs a mirror video driver that you have to uninstall in the device manager to correct the problem.

I wouldn't mind facing the onslaught of Geno in MW2 if I knew I'd be rewarded for passing or capping the flag. Maybe give those people equivalent scores to the geno whores to drive a different incentive.

One thing bothers me about missle wars 2 is that to optimize your personal score, its often best to disregard the flag. Is there some way to give passers and cappers points. I'd say that each of those activities is worth the weight of a Geno (point for every member of the other team). It would add a...

I recently upgraded my Athlon64 3000+ to an X2 3800+. When I first went into a few BZflag games, my tank was running wildly fast. It seems to have stopped now, but does anyone have any ideas as t owhy it did that in case it happens again. I'd rather not get banned for cheating.
