Hi there, a precious friend dropped me a line about the forums. I've just been busy with work and reading. Usually too tired to commit to an intense match with all you amazing tankers. Now if there's someone I haven't seen in a long time is AlexandertheGreat. See you around real soon, time off for C...

Hi Hoplite, Drive full speed in a circular pattern with the GM tank being the centre point (i.e. at 90 degrees to incoming shot). You can slowly tighten the circle until you are very close to the GM tank. That's basically it. You may not always be able to make a full circle mind you, but you only re...

Hi there iDante,

In my opinion, the better method to see more of the map on radar is via your zoom levels, 1, 2, 3, etc. Learn to quickly flip back and forth between them and full map as well as close up zoom can be had in an instant.

Bye for now

I like the idea! If the intent of the CTF server is to CTF, then each round should be independant of each other, similar to sports. Each team starts fresh with equal opportunity to establish a position on the field and/or obtain a super flag, which are also reset at each CTF. I'm sure many players m...

...Team Speak 2 has a voice activation feature = hands free (as mentioned by bzflaginator)

Works great, very clear.

I don't know for sure but I thought it meant...

J = Jumping
F = Flags
R = Rico

...and if they were 'bright', these features were active, thus 'dim' would be inactive.

I think you have it Purple Panzer.

The asterisk???

I believe my Norton Internet Security (N.I.S.) did once give me a warning about spyware from bzflag, which I allowed, assuming it was how statistical data was collected for the game. I do not confirm that it was indeed spyware. I can't recall the exact message from N.I.S. But I can say that I had re...

Could you guys/(girls) so kindly provide an advance post (here is fine) of the match time and date you've chosen so interested parties (namely me) can observe?

Thank you!

Is the difficulty in viewing the tanks on screen or in the radar?
(I'm assuming radar simply due to it's size).

Hi there. In the GU League FAQ (Automatic Site Maintenance section) it states (paraphrased...) 1. Teams having played matches but where no member of that Team has logged in for more than 3 mo. - DELETED. 2. Teams that have never played a match and have been in existance for 2 mo. - PERMENANTELY DELE...

Well then, I was definitely speaking of the former (ah-hem).

Looks like I might be guilty here... (esp. of being a nOOb.) I usually msg 'oops' if I turn into a teammates' fire or don't jump out of the way in time. I prefer to say 'sry' when I lose focus and shoot causing a tk.

Receiving 'oops', 'sry', 'dang', etc. is fine with me and preferred over silence.

Frustrating indeed.

Maybe a location reset where losing team spawns and winning team re-appears randomly on their own turf (Flags in possession remain) having to struggle their way back to opponents base.

Once CTF, time for a faceoff. (In my opinion.)
