4 Team League

Have you been left out in the cold because you somehow weren't able to join an already established league? or You're in a league already and would like to get more competitive league action? Are you interested in getting in on the beginning of a potentially great league and having your input count f...

This will be good enough for a part-time server at best. To run it full-time, you'll need to run one of those Ducati-type servers 4 vs. 4. I'm basing this on my experience using Server Pronto. I had 200GB of bandwidth and I actually overdid it the first month :(. Good luck though. :) Harlin Seritt I...

How about a kamikaze flag? This could work like my ridiculous SW flag (Insane Radius - 1600!) on my Pythonian server. Come to think of it, it kind of already is, but I'd also like to use the standard SW as well.

Pythonian.com Having Technical Difficulties

As you may have figured out, I have been running a limited server. The featured map for now is a modification of an older version of Pillbox with jumping, high bases, flags and the like. For some reason, the connection to it is down. This is the fault of my server and connection provider. According ...

Oh yeah, forgot to post its address: pythonian.com:5154

It's a fast server but I have to monitor its bandwidth usage because I'm so cheap :)

I have an elevated Pillbox-like server with flags, jumping and a few of my own simple surprises. Unfortunately, I can only host it for 8 vs 8 due to bandwidth considerations.

thanks,

Brennan,

If you would, take a look at my offer page: http://bzflag.pythonian.com/offer.html.

That will hopefully explain a few things for you.

If you're serious about getting a real server up and running

If you're serious about getting a real server up and running, read this link for an offer at BZFlag Server stardom. If you're willing to help out, the rewards are many. http://bzflag.pythonian.com/offer.html This is a very fair deal. I don't expect that everyone can help out with this, but it would ...

Thanks for the posts guys. It is very encouraging to know you guys had fun on the server. Pyr0, thanks for the info, that is invaluable. I've never hosted before, so I don't know a lot of vendors out there for this sort of thing. Also, BZFlag Community (Listen Up!!), when you have a guy out there (m...

Pythonian.com Toast and Finished

Sorry to say this so soon, but Pythonian.com is no longer in the game as far as being a big server. I will continue to host it on my home network under Pythonian.net (and later Pythonian.com probably). Why? Bandwidth is extremely expensive. I rented a server from Server Pronto for what I thought wou...

I think I got this name because my dad and grandfather were both named Harlin. That would make sense since my name is Harlin Seritt III.

Thanks for the kind words Manalishi. I will do my best to keep things up. My problems at the moment are that I am going through the learning curve of being a bzfs owner/admin. Forgot to mention this. My server is frequently down because I don't have internet access at home where I can log on to the Pythonian server.
