BZFlag Zone: Version 2

Eventually I got sick of trying to code my own site so I fell back on using Drupal

My new bzflag site: http://bzflag.levelzone.net/bz2/

Its a community site, you can register and edit the map archive and bzflag handbook.

Whatcha think?

...and the urge to throw my keyboard through my window, rattle off a few words that would pale a marine, vow never to play bzflag again, and get back on in 10 minuets. I HATE it when the bullet passes to the side and still kills you. But I personaly think that bzflag is not violent (compared to Halo...

I *think* it means that you tried to play the map, pressed escape or else the 'download' (loading) of the map failed. Try clearing out your cache directory (it MIGHT work but make a backup first) Other than that, no idea.

From my experience, the port can be just about anything (I usualy set it to something in the 4000s) And, like A Metorite said, make sure your firewall (if present) will take the port 5154 (or whatever you set it to) and UDP and not block it. The configuration file itself, if you feel brave, is usual...

So the flags, if the enemy picked them up, would blow them to tiny tiny peices correct?

I like that idea, but at first I though you mean actualy dropping 'mines'

Everywhere INSIDE the radius, so if you want to have the ambient sound at one corner of the map you would need a radius.

Or, for a radius that goes everywhere in the map, you could do smething like Radius * or Radius GLOBAL

Sound object

A sound object could be used in a map to play a sound when a player gets withen a certain radius of the object. It would be fairly easy to put in the map with something like sound name sound1 file boom position 0 0 50 radius 70 ambient 1 end Ambient makes teh sound apear from everywhere at once, whi...

Does the theme look okay? I tried it on three different browsers; Firefox, Opera, and (I sunk so low) I tried IE. For some reason the font for the header (soon to be image) looks so much better in firefox. In Opera the border "stands out" about a quarter inch from the content itself and th...

My 'secret' project

Well I've been working for awhile on a 'secret' project. Its a total remake of the origional levelzone. Since i just realize that colors + web site themes is a very bad combo for me, the site is just plain grey (Plain and Grey, eh, RPG?). I have gotten some maps on there (It takes almost as much wor...
