The app manages to create a cache folder in the specified AppData location, but it does not even launch to the point of creating a config file at all.
Is BZFlag really still compatible with Win7?

Did this work recently? Any idea what might have changed? In any case, try renaming your configuration file to see if there's some issue with it. Bring up the Run dialog (Windows Key + R) and type in %localappdata%\BZFlag\2.4\ and hit OK. Then rename config.cfg to config2.cfg and try to run the gam...

I am also having a problem wherein the application will not open. When I launch it normally (via desktop shortcut) it appears briefly in the Task Manager and then disappears without any window or error message. When I tried launching it as admin, it didn't even show up in the task manager. Windows 7...

makes me wish i knew more coders. i know what i would like to see - different vehicles and unit possibilities. more variety possible in weaponry. maybe even mechs and airships of various types.

hmmm, i am getting the similar error, bad token, whenever i attempt to join any server. i have updated the password here and on my client, but to no avail.
