I've always thought that a good flag would give you bullets that won't kill your teammates. Then you can fire with impunity in a crowd and not worry about TK's.

I've also dreamed of a "fat bullet" flag. Bullets the size of, say, beachballs— make it easier to hit the bad guys.

Just as a follow up, I've tried the tips posted above and have had a pretty good success rate. Problem is, I I'm having so much fun dodging GMs that one of his teammates inevitably shows up and nails me.

Yeah, I've thought that, if I had it the entire game, it would be helpful. But it's just too jarring when you only have it for six seconds, especially when you try to jump. Same goes for Agility.

I've noticed some players are able to do a little dodge and avoid getting hit by the GM. But I haven't been able to figure out how it works. It looks like they just drive back and forth, but I can't seem to do it.

Ideas, anyone?

I agree that, while I HATE getting killed by my teammates, it's an essential part of the game.

But, this is a good time to spout off on what I think would be a really cool flag: No Team Kill (or something like that). For however long you carry it, your bullets don't kill teammates.

In most games you self-destruct when you TK, intentionally or not. So that's a non-issue.

I enter the game. The first flag I grab is geno. I select my target and fire, only to have him leap out of the way. On the ricochet, one of my own teammates gets hit. I get booted immediately for too many TKs. Humiliating.

Spawned on that flag that makes you shoot (can't remember the name right now) facing a wall. Lasted about 1/10th of a second.

Well of course I'd be lying if I said there weren't times when I was happy for geno - for most of the reasons stated above. But seriously, who hasn't been in a game when your team gets hit with geno four times in a row - by the same two players? It's not good for the team, or for the game, for that ...

Is anyone else here getting sick of the Genocide flag? Here's a scenario that repeats far too often: you and your teammates have worked hard, slugged your way across hostile terrain and are on the verge of capturing the flag when WHAM! someone gets off a lucky shot and hit the noob on your team with...

Still doesn't show up. Any other ideas?

I don't have one of those little blue plus signs that say I'm registered. How do I do that?
