w00t! we now have 12000 registered players! Sorry. I had a really hard time deciding on a callsign. If I were to estimate, I'd say I see about 100-200 different registered users in 1 week. Non-registered players is a little over that. I think that's extremely conservative. Just take a look at stats...

Map

I think that this depends almost entirely on the map. There are several high speed sniper maps on which I can easily get a nine. On pillbox, I'm more of a three or four. On the old Silvercat overlord? Giving me a zero would be a compliment. Of course, when it comes to CTF, how well you play depends ...

FIX

As it turns out it was just an SDL install problem. After reinstalling a bunch of up-to-date SDL packages and compiling SDL from source again, the problems went away!

[SOLVED] SDL Package Troubles

I've been having numerous package troubles on my new Debian install, and suspect this is one of them: My intention is to install BZFlag from source, but the error that I get when I run the program after having successfully compiled it with SDL is Could not initialize SDL video subsystem: No availabl...
