Install on Asus EEE PC

Bro's got himself an Asus EEE PC and (naturally) wants to install bzflag on it. However, the standard "apt-get install bzflag" doesn't find it. Any advice on changes to sources.list for the approriate repository? Ta muchly.

Another iMac question: How do you lock on GM when you've only got one button on your mouse?

set <color>radar "x y z" Thanks, that will be very useful. Is there maybe an equivalent for out-of-the-window coloring? (Yes, I know the gurus use just radar, but I'm not there yet). [quick google] OK, found it on http://www.bzflag.org/help/customization.php: set redcolor This BZFlag soft...

Don't get snappy...

I didn't - I even smiled. :-)

Seriously though, if the distinction between red and green can be improved by client config alone - and not by running a modified source client - I'd very much like to hear about how. Thanks.

I think that in this case, the ~2.5% of the population for whom this is an issue are just fine accommodating themselves. So, you appear to think 50% of BZflaggers are female, and 100% of colorblind male BZflaggers are running modified clients. You're somewhere between "very wrong" and &qu...

Coping with Colorblindness

A request to all map designers: Please remember that 5% of all males have problems with red-green color discrimination. Therefore, always choosing Red-versus-Green for CTF is actually a pretty dumb idea. Go for Red-versus-Blue instead (like The Two Tanks) and you'll have a fair bit less accidental T...

Thanks for the reply, Strayer. I think what added to my confusion is that I have a slightly +ve strength index here (http://my.bzflag.org/playerinfo.php?callsign=ralph) and a hugely -ve strength index at your site (http://bzstats.strayer.de/players/stats/?name=Ralph&lang=en). I think you have it...

I'd like to know what some of the stats fields mean. "Strength" for instance. I seem to have a big minus number, which is fair, 'cause I'm crap. But then I look up another player who appears to be a master on the server where I've seen them, and I see they have a a big minus number too. Me...
