new game style - rat race

Anyone given much thought to a rat race / obstacle course in both a free-for-all and team format. Either a progressive series of maps or so one-to-many loops of a given map. Points for time and kills. Once you cross the finish line you could restart as a phantom tank and harass other tanks.

bzflag admin database

Running Windows XP and need some info on where the server database is for tuning things like GM, SW, etc. Do I need to create the file, and if so, any guidance on the structure?

Thanks in advance.

guided missile, player1, stealth

three of play rabbit and we have found with 1.9.9 beta that the first person in the world gets stealth for the entire game. in other words they can't be locked on by other players that have the guided missle. can anyone else confirm before I post this as a bug?

thanks

No, we were not any more sophisticated on Wednesday with the newer version than on Tuesday with the older version.

It's like the missle doesn't update its trajectory as often on the new client.

key mapping in 1.9

The latest version, 1.9.8, doesn't seem to store changes to the key mappings like the previous versions did. Is there anyway to use the previous user config file (bzflag.bzc, I think) in the new client?

Guided Missle potency

Three of us at work have been been playing the 6.26 version for the "rabbit hunt" game play for the last three months for about an hour a day on an internal server. Needless to say, we'd gotten real good at knowing when you are going to die with the guided missle. In the last week we loade...

Thanks. We just got the 1.9.8 version, which uses png so it's not an issue. We had been playing rabbit in 6.26.

rgb files

I've been hacking the rbg files. Can anyone tell me the transparency color? I am converting them to bmp or jpg, making the changes and converting them back.
