It is LCD (Laptop) and I didn't change the resolution. But in order to verify, I checked and it is native. I also switched it to a lower resolution just to see whether or not they might appear. They didn't.

Missing Lines in HUD and Radar on Ubuntu 7.10

I just upgraded to Ubuntu 7.10, made a make clean and make disclean . Ran ./configure --enable-optimized and compiled and installed like I did on 7.04 before. I compiled 2.0.10rc3. The mouse box and the radar box are both missing the left and bottom lines. I didn't have the problem with 2.0.10rc3 un...

If you're forced to vote, then people might just hit "don't care" right away and keep playing, which would eliminate the purpose. Hmmm... And what is the difference in the result if you click "don't care" because you don't like being bugged and not voting because you... hmmm... ...

Idea: make poll voting mandatory

Often players don't know how to vote or don't notice there is a poll going on. Also there are situations where you don't have the time to type "n /vote yes" (or no). My idea is to extend the time limit of 60 seconds to 120 seconds and additionally ask each player who didn't vote yet for hi...

2.0.10RC3 since yesterday. Unfortunately it's a bad release as I have to leave the server with negative score most of the time ;-) Or is it simply that I'm a bad player?

configure still says

Code: Select all

checking for SDL_image library... no
configure: WARNING: Client build has been requested, but GL is not fully available (missing gl.h)

but looking into /usr/include/GL reveals a gl.h

What am I missing here?

Okay... libncurses5-dev and libsdl1.2-dev were no problem to install. Now I'm still missing gl and again have no idea what to install. I tried to find something using aptitude but couldn't find anything useful.

Sources on the net say, there is no driver and since the laptop is no longer produced (eol 2004) there won't be.

That might well be. I just like to change the colors used. Not the models themselves. Are the colors hardcoded too?

Display Settings beyond the menu possible?

Hi! I just installed Ubuntu on my Amilo Powerbook and finally got it to support at least a bit of 3D, Unfortunately texturing is indiscussable. It's simply too slow. I experimented a bit with all the other settings, but sometimes couldn't see a big difference or couldn't notice a speed improvemend o...
