Awesome to hear. It'll be interesting to see who/how many people come back/still play.

What's new?

Been awhile since I've played or checked on here. I'm guessing 2.2 still isnt finished, Planet MoFo still is largely a n00bfest, and please, please tell me Boxy Wars and Four Castles (or whatever it was) arent popular any more?

Anyways, fill me in on whats gone down since the end of the summer.

More suggestions:

Make right click adjust the camera, the scroll wheel zoom. Left click to select stuff.

Drop the blue background, and just go with black.

Lighten the green used as the ground.

All I got for now.. keep it coming.

Kind of like Dutchrai's (did I get that right?) Sand Blaster?

F8 to switch modes, Roaming, Following, Tracking, or Driving With.
F6/7 to switch the 'target'.

As for a hotkey to go back and forth between two players, don't think thats in there.

You don't need to get right up behind someone to kill them. Thats why we have bullets, so you can fire from farther away.

To add options to a map file, use this:

Code: Select all

options
-j
+r
-set _wingsSlideTime 50
end
With your options in there, of course.

To add jumping, +j should be in the config file or map options.

I think it would be lame and stupid to share that data across servers. That would prevent a player from cheating as TML suggested. I could go in, stock points against n00bs, then go in and rank up mad scores on the camp-fest of your choice with whatever flag I wanted.

As I said via the admin channel earlier on the server, the place lagged up with more 8/9 players a side.

Edit: I think this would be a perfect map for a league to run on. You would probably need 3/side minimum to have a good game, but thats not huge.

A year? I swear it was less...but fun nonetheless. I think (going by memory here) that the shot speed should (have) be(en) reduced.

I still like the old old dodgeball map, which had a platform with a laser WW across the opening, which retreated every so often, and no jumping.
