Actually, there is. The code maintainer on sourceforge responsible for that chunk of code tells me that it is actually a multiplier. multiply the value X26 to get thje number of good flags generated. In the bug report I filed on sourceforge, he has a jpg image of a map with 2600 flags (+f good{100})...

-good{value} flag definition will cause you problems

Howdy! I just installed 1.7g2 server for the first time and found the cool HTML form which lets you interactively build a bzfs.conf file. It allows you to generate a configuration file with a value defined for number of good flags that you want to start. I made this mistake. I had it put in -good{75...

static library dependancies, compiling under IRIX

Howdy! I never have been able to get BZ to compile and run under IRIX. I have been using the rpre-compiled binaries off of sourceforge for over a year. I have 7e6 running. All pre-compiled versions since g0-g2 fail on startup with warnings about libc fversion incompatability. Anyone have any suggest...

Server Rules: No Cheating No Abusive Language No Teammate Killing High lag gets you booted, cheat clients are permanent ban on first offense. Other than those, I'm looking for good players to give me feedback on the maps I create. I am the only admin. I don't make any other rules regarding gameplay....

nice clear, concise, completely non-committal response. Seems par for BZ releases.

what a waste of programming effort - I would rather have SW destroy GM or better anti-cheating or just about anything else . What possible use does this have?

I have a Gainward FX5200/128 in an AGP 8 slot on an OC'ed P4 2.4 pumped to 3Ghz. I run the FX5200 OC'ed into the "orange" zone at 1280x1024 72Hz but with Vsync disabled on a Dell 19" LCD. I have everything turned on in BZ and I average about 120fps. Anything over about 35-40fps is bey...

hey spiff, love your maps but keep them small/simple. Decks was great until it got bastardized into the 30 level version. It it is so tall you can't see the ground from the top level, its too tall. If you have no way of seeing the far side of a map it is too wide and if you can wander inside a build...

I like pyramids, but ITS TOO DANG BIG. If the pyramid was only about 10-12 tanks high, heck even 20 tanks high, it would pay a bit better. As it is, you get up high with GM and you can pretty much eliminate anything that comes near you. I give the pyramid a 2 out of 5.

WingNut's Bunkers v1.4

I took the bunkers map, eliminated all of the major camping spots and this is what I came up with. Enjoy.
