Re: World Size

For anyone who does not like to follow links,

Insert this at the top of the BZW file in your text editing program of your choice. (if you're using one.)

world
size *
end

repace * with whatever value you want.

Jaw, meet floor. Floor, meet jaw. Incredible! (Yes, I know, I already posted, but I wanted to say SOMETHING.)

Re: Teleporter Help

Ok, new problem, How do I get flags to spawn on top of buildings? I have the zones set over my red base, but they only appear on the ground. So, specifically, what server variable do I need to set so that flags with spawn onto buildings? -K EDIT: it's -fb, I looked in one of my older map files and f...

Re: Teleporter Help

Yeah, I thought you were going to say that. I just remembered that in MW2.3 if a tank comes out of the teleporter, they have the burrow 'cross' on the radar. If you place the bottom teleporter negative point zero one bzunits (-0.01) then you get the minimum (I think) possible depth.

Teleporter Help

How does one link two teleporters together?

Code: Select all

teleporter Tele1
position -350 70 0
size 0.125 6 10
rotation 0.0
border 1.12
end

teleporter Tele1_goto
size 0.125 6 10
position -305 70 20
border 1.12
end

link
name T1Link
from Tele1
to Tele1_goto
end
This is my code, am I doing something wrong?

Play, play, play. If you want to get better (and if you want to annoy your parents) play bzflag a lot.

I get a start when someone shoots me from behind. Getting involved in a game is nothing to be ashamed about. Tips: Don't curse people, they might ban you. Act nice, who knows, maybe someday you'll get to introduce new people to BZFlag. Apologize for teamkills and say np if you get teamkilled. WG sli...

Re: Dodging GM's while in the air

Also, if you have stealth, no one can target you anyway, so it's not quite so hard to avoid getting GMed.

Also, I meant that you were wrong, as in, you thought you could do something, but in reality you couldn't and did not realize it. I apologize, but I was not trying to insult you.

Re: How to rotate objects on the x and y axis?

I think it can, what about the treads in the 'Two Tanks, Laser Sniping' map?
I was thinking something along the lines of a train, probably a steam engine sort of thing.

How to rotate objects on the x and y axis?

How does one rotate objects (like arcs) along the x or y axis?
Like to know, I have an interesting map idea.

Re: Water Crossing, Warning, rusty tanks!

Thanks, I enjoyed making it.
To use the block, learn this.

One full speed jump takes you two blocks over, one half speed jump takes you one block over.

If this doesn't help, just go there and fool around for a while.
