I suggest a new approach: build leage integration into the BZFlag client. Support for teams, games, different maps, and even different leagues can be integrated into the client. Some of the more popular leagues bring their own tools for this. See BZleague Checker for GU, ducati, pillbox and 1vs1 le...

I had a very similar problem..the computer would heat up, and when it did, it would put the processor into half speed, giving me very low fps. If it is a notebook, one thing that can help is to elevate it a bit to have more space between the table and the computer for more cooling. For any other com...

[Bug Submit] Capping after match timer finished

For matches in several leagues, the /countdown comand is used to start timed matches. It has been observed, that it is possible to make a cap just after the match timer was finished (game over), but before the matching tanks explode, and that that cap is counted in the overall score. This probably h...

Port 5156 is spare at the moment, i would suggest use dub:5156 for ducati clssic style map. It is not proposed as a general setting for ducati, but the question was merely to have a dead server port use this setting, and for all i care, why the hell not. Nobody needs to play there. Personally, I al...

As i interpret what is said, this acc. limitation affects all users ..... exepted low fps ones for which it's worse. So you think it's fair for all having those settings in place ? (cuz not everyones have a computer with great cpu, gpu) for one thing having low fps will remove their effectiveness. ...

How about: one league... ... more players lol, this includes talking tanks :D pick a team But the amount of servers is hardly the problem. Molez was not talking about number of servers, but visability of servers and controlling spawn rights as is done with the GU league. Spawn rights I think is alr...

Personally I find it a good idea, since I always perform better when I can show off to observers :D But as experience shows on the GU league match servers, the only people that come and stay and watch a match are those that are part of the league anyway. For all those that got there by accident, the...

Personally I'd be most interested in seeing a Ducati vs. Pillbox interleague match. It would have to be at a neutral gametype, like 3 shot w/ rico, or two shot without rico. A combo of the two. That's just me though, I dunno if there is interest there. I'd certainly be game if that's going to happe...

You OpenLeaguers are "starting smack" with any league that you take a map from. First of all, I'm not saying anyone's right in claiming ownership over a maptype or whatever you are accusing me of. Or am I only allowed to post here if I agree with you? I didn't post before, so you couldn't...

You OpenLeaguers are "starting smack" with any league that you take a map from. No offense, but I compare you guys to a Wal-Mart that's coming to town. Its convenient, but kills every other store in the area. Its not Wal-Mart, its open source, its free to use, and that's what it is made f...

It's not about truth, not about right, not about what is good for a single player, it is about what is good for the league and how to keep the ducati league exciting and fun for the majority of the people playing in the league, as well as making it more attractive for non members to decide to play i...

Thats a good point. ESp. in the past some teams had a team order not to play matches without the teamleader. IMHO thats rude. I suggest to add to the rules the topic "everyone should have the right to choose who they want to match and where, Teamleader are not allowed to give orders to interdi...

I have to agree with Tokimi and some other posters. A scheme that tries to force people to do something is not pointing in any good direction. To be honest, there is ofcourse just a little difference in rewarding active teams vs to punish not very regular matching teams. But the difference is all th...

I doubt it would be much to add more fields in the "enter match" page in the
website, including players of the match (and of course we take care of the
fact that there can be subs).
Actually, i am just busy with that :)
