Re: any known issues with 64 bit ubuntu 11.04?
works well now. it was a compiling error, i was missing some libs I forgot to install. works great now, and it looks better then ever with my new crossfire cards.
I still don't see an icon, but I suppose I could make one and install a command.

Re: any known issues with 64 bit ubuntu 11.04?
i looked in that site jeff, and the sub directories I didnt see any file called "libcurl3-dev" there have not been as many players as there were before 2.4, there must be some issues with the upgrade for them too. Though Ill definitely try to get it work with my ubuntu 64, instead of using...

Re: any known issues with 64 bit ubuntu 11.04?

I found it sourgeforge or some similar site - dont recall. but i've followed the installation instructions in many different ways and many times. maybe there is a bug with 64bit ubuntu. i just downloaded wine - and the 32 and ...

Re: any known issues with 64 bit ubuntu 11.04?
forgot to mention, I also had installed c-ares before I rebuilt the whole thing. at first, I had installed 2.4 without those other required dev files( i assumed the computer would just find what it needs automatically or Ubuntu already had them) I could start the game but not see message of day or s...

any known issues with 64 bit ubuntu 11.04?
I removed all of 2.0.16, including its configuration files - through synaptic Then installed libgl1-mesa-dev libglu1-mesa-dev libsdl1.2-dev libcurl3-dev libsdl-sound1.2-dev (may have to add this yourself as well) python-dev swig all through sypnatic, except for libcurl3-dev. I found it online somewh...

Re: No Server list with 2.4 on linux
I used Download bzflag-2.4.0.tar.bz2 (15.0 MB) from http://sourceforge.net/projects/bzflag/files/. It was the the one at the top of the page, not organized within the tabs. - I didn't see any version for ubuntu 64 bit. So I used this. As for errors, I guess I would need to reinstall 2.4 and save the...

strategic wings
How about creating wings that allow you to carry one, or two other teamates! If the two tanks could some how interlock with the botton of the tank with wings, the tank with wings could take them to hard to reach places. And maybe adding two extra keys for the winged tank. One for dropping the tank o...
