Mandrake has problems because of a generic install of 3dmesa. I used to run Mandrake and that was the problem. See if it helps any when ya install a copy of 3dMesa.... If your just looking to get away from Mandrake all together and want better support. Try Redhat.... Most things are made to run on i...

Its not admin privelages... He's sending a shot that does not exist, thus your client freaks and causes you to either go NR or kills the client completely.... As for blocking his attack.. You would have to have a client that ignores any packets coming from other tanks. Really only useful for an admi...

Looging

How would ya go about setting up logging for bzflag?

Have linux log all traffic from the specific port? What about callsigns?

Didn't know what forum to put this in, but as it is a server question, thought this would do.

bzfs taking 100% cpu time?

Anybody know of a problem where bzfs takes 100% of the cpu time? Another operator has a problem where it will all the sudden take 100% and everybody gets glitchy graphics.

I have a modified client that can only connect to my server located on my web page. Patlabor wants the source code released to the public. I think this is a real bad idea. G2 is "supposed" to have server checks against cheaters. I assure you it will not stop half of what can be done. And w...
