Instead of getting killed instantly when shot, how about if the tank slowly looses life and eventually it blows up. After a few shots, the tank would start to smoke and rattle and not be as efficient (momentum, no jumping, jamming, ect.) instead of "bad flags". And if you don't find a heal...
