There were several things that made bzflag attractive to me: (1) It runs on 'old' hardware, (2) The goal of the game was immediately obvious, (3) It provides instantaneous fun. No need to level up or figure out stuf. You start driving, shoot and things blow up, instant fun. (4) You get to play again...

Tested it under Arch Linux on a 64bit architecture. Compiled from source. Game runs fine.
It did however core-dump when I quit the game.

Much appreciated. Just what I was looking for.

My daughter just started playing. Having a map and especiallaly some targets to practice on really helps.

Hi, I 'm new to bzflag (playing for a month). Running this map on my private server to practice and having great fun with it and learned a lot about jumping. Managed to do the middle section, that is the jumping training rooms with the pyramids and high ledges. However I can't seem get to the sectio...
