request: different sounds "you are rabbit" / &quo

I was fooling around with hunt mode in rabbit hunt and it made the same sound as "you are rabbit" so I let loose with my L on some teammmates hehe. It would be nice if there was a different sound for hunt mode. If anyone has a nice free sound file maybe you could post it here as a suggetion. thanks....

(as long as the shot is moving horizontal and not vertical when it's intended rico hits the person then it's fine... shots hitting you from below or above should stay out... confuses, frustrates players when they get hit) pyramid ricos are great. So what if it confuses or frustrates. I believe that...

As described this sounds pretty harmless because you could always just draw a line on your monitor with a felt pen to get the same effect. Part of the line is already there anyway.

I don't think the way you turn it on really matters.

I try to always watch when someone drops a good flag so I can see where it respawns.

Lately it seems I have been picking up different flags more than usual. Has the flag-respawn behavior changed in recent versions?

I could easily be imagining this....

Well I was able to get this to work by adding a quick hack to the bzadmin source that makes lines starting with @ always target the admin channel.

everyone has good points. here's my .02 on "swearing" rules Unlike most online shooter games, the status quo in bzland is that "swearing" is not allowed. Smiling bob is right that "swearing" is a totally arbitrary term. I can't tell you what it means.... Because most servers forbid "swearing" certai...

Someone has to say this. Using images for text is considered harmful for many reasons. The site can't be indexed or searched. Copy/paste won't work. editing is hard etc.

There already is a TK Ratio setting... the warnings aren't there, but the ratio is if the server owner configures it. This problem really just requires vigilant admins and the ratio set, nothing new is really needed. exactly. I always thought that autokicks/bans should be announced on the public ch...

did you start your own league? if you did then why? no, because there are already lots of leagues. But I am not going to complain that there are too many. You are free to participate or not participate as you wish. you do not need a new league to play different servers or styles, thats kinda dumb r...

can "bzadmin -ui stdboth" send to admin channel?

I am working on a bzadmin bot which is just a perl wrapper to bzadmin -ui stdboth. I'd like to have it talk on the admin channel, but I can't figure out how to do it (I can't use the arrow keys because that is not part of -ui stdboth). Is there a command I am missing?

When someone says "Linux", they are referring to the kernel. You actually install a "distribution" (redhat, debian, slackware, gentoo, etc.), you can get distributions that run of a CD, that co-exist with your windows install or that you have to install on their own partition. Some distributions are...

I disagree that it opens up a ton of holes and special cases. There are only 12 cases to consider if we want to just restrict people carrying flags of teams which they outnumber. Anyway, you will end up with 16 cases to consider if you want to make behavior predictable for 4 teams, instead of just co...

CTF is disabled for all teams. It wouldn't be fair otherwise. Uneven teams are intrinsically unfair. Even if you take the flags out of the picture. So denying caps for both teams really doesn't make it fair, rather it just prevents some very unfair activity(big team capping). But its not really "un...

Sounds good, I am going to try this plugin out! Dose it disable ctf for both teams, or just the team with more members? I used to play quake3 and it would only prevent the larger team from handling the flag in an uneven-team situation. I think this is a good idea because it gives the underdog team a...
