Re: The Lair - CTF

There is a good reason for that, as there was some differences to the one hosted and the one released. Most notably one was textured and had physics, while the other didn't. I think that one was later modified a bit and put back online as the textures were local and didn't appear on other clients. -...

Re: Breizh Wall

A nice map, reminds me of Lopsy.
(Main differences are minor: generated vs non-generated and bases are closer to the middle of the map.)

By the way, for those who are wondering of the license, it is included within the map file.(GPLv3, if I'm not mistaken.)

Re: Spawnkill Revenge

Don't reduce the score of the spawnkilled player. Add an optional mode where spawnkilling just reduces the killer's score rather than killing the killer (might be a better behavior on FFA maps). Perhaps another option where after a certain number of point penalties for spawnkilling, the killer is k...

Re: Goxel editor

Here's a link to the website, if I am not mistaken: guillaumechereau.github.io/goxel I have seen some maps made which used a similar style and have considered creating one which could generate maps with a voxel theme. My main concerns would be on how 'well' these maps would handle, as I assume they ...

Re: The Lair - CTF

I'm not exactly sure, but I'm assuming you wish to be able to use the teleporter without having to jump. If so, you will very likely need to lower/raise the teleporters and make some adjustments to them. I'm not sure if this will help, but try commenting out the 'name' field from the teleporters. Th...

Re: Christmas Scare

A bit of advice, you might want to add -set _drawMountains 0 into the map.
This can be added into the options part of the map file as shown below:

Code: Select all

options
  -set _drawMountains 0
end

Re: Kiddy-Korner Map

Nice map, looks pretty good in terms of play-ability.
Small side note, you might want to use names other than "tester" and give a more descriptive map name.
(People might have more than one map downloaded and it becomes confusing to find who has made it and the name of the map, license..etc..)

Re: Life on the outside

It kind of limits what one has to say, originally, I was going to provide an in depth post. Some games I've played are: Minetest, Bos Wars, FlightGear, SuperTuxKart. Maybe BZ players find some common games they play (fortnite, etc.) and get together on them. Find friends when doing that, and then sh...
