Well, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the orginal NVidia drivers (12.xx) and DirectX 8.0a that came with my system. It still had problems with vertical lines and the characters all messed up. I'm new to these multi-user and 3D games. When I first found BZFlag, I thought, WOW! Great game! I had some problems with getting it started and I think it hung my computer. However, I chalked it up to not understanding what "server" meant. A "game" server is a different concept ...
