Re: Sniping League

This is where the map comes into play tho. Take hix for example. If there are levels to jump around on like HIX, that is a bad map. My team camps top, kills everyone, I am free to run top side with no interference. That was my orig. point. If the map is not made and has plug ins or whatever is neede...

Re: Sniping League

Excuse me, but I still don't see your point. If one person took your team flag and two of his teammates successfully negated your attempt to retrieve the flag, that means that their coordination and teamwork was good while yours wasn't. That is the essence of CTF, you can't do everything alone. I a...

Re: Sniping League

Some of the flagged maps can already have matches played on, they aren't necessarily laser sniping maps. I don't see any issue with potential camping or spawn killing. As long as the map is symmetrical and both teams start off with the same conditions, everything else can be utilized as a strategy....

Re: Sniping League

One thought... coming from someone who made a laser map. The design, amount of, and length of shots would need to be heavily tested and get feedback before entering a league format. Going off of lasermania would be a good idea for a template, or if okay by the current host or maker if person is stil...

Re: Christmas Scare

Again, I removed fog for the pic, plus those walls are way to tall to see over even without it.
The mountains are exactly how I want them. Not visible.

Christmas Scare

This is something I did tonight for fun. I have messed with the settings quite a bit. I do have fog pretty heavy on this map, cleared it up for the pics :) The outside is only walkway accessible, so dont worry about the big open gaps out there. And yes, the snow falls UP! - Gollum https://creativeco...

Kiddy-Korner Map

This is my current project. This is bare bones.

I am also looking for a way to test my maps... I never seem to be able to do the normal route, is there a program out there to do this?

Enjoy!

Re: Life on the outside

It is open to any games! I was just giving games as what I like... So I dont just say "Hey lets do this" then dont give options myself. :) I am always open to trying new games, many times it just takes a suggestion! It is not exclusive to games, I just dont want this to be a debate topic. ...

Life on the outside

This may be of no interest, or of much interest... so hey who cares! Lately I've been a thinking, and my thinking this time didn't get me in trouble! :P I am all grown up now, from when I first started bzflag. My first time was back in '99, and man time has flown. :!: How did I get here? Well, I was...
