It's worth noting that for (at least) several months there's been a troll-cheat impersonating regular players—I presume to cause exactly this kind of situation, with a mistargeted ban. I.e., it's possible that there was a "Cole l" cheating—but it wasn't our Cole l, if you know what I mean :V

In my opinion, the presence of super flags on a map makes it unsuitable for competitive play since it opens up too much possibilities that it either becomes a chore to learn or becomes chaotic.
