Re: Attempting to build-compile ModelTool in Linux
While I don't understand why you're trying to use g++ to build Modeltool, its easier to just use `make` while in that directory.
Worked for me.
Code: Select all
g++ -o modeltool modeltool.cxx -include SimpleTextUtils.h model.h wavefrontOBJ.h Q3BSP.h Q3BSP.cxx wavefrontOBJ.cxx SimpleTextUtils.cxx

Re: BZFlag stopped working (again)
Hope that the devs will be able to get support for ipv6 working soon, from what I've heard that is a focus for them now. Until that time... I also use T-Mobile 5G, usually if you try a dozen tries you'll be able to join. There have been a few times where I restart the hotspot box, and it'll work gre...

Re: Plugin include custom header file
From what I've learned working with other plugins that use bztoolkit, its supposed to be in a sub directory of the plugin that uses it. For example `bzflag/plugins/sample_plugin/bztoolkit...` and then you use `#include bztoolkit/bzToolKitAPI.h` inside sample_plugin.cpp. I don't know how it could be ...

Re: new terrain map
Looks really neat, like it could be fun to play! Did you ever load it into a server? As it currently is, it loads sideways, looking at Wings3d it looks like there's an option to swap the Y and Z-axis. Though it is doable by grouping and adding `spin`. Also seems not all the levels are level, which m...

Re: noradar
So, in a way, a solution, albeit not an elegant one, would be to fill all the empty space with transparent and passable meshboxes. Unless you are also using pyramids and other non-rectengular solid objects, which can complicate this approach... Either that or you could give all objects "norada...

Re: givePoint and Retroreflector plugins
What is the point of it... Heh, there isn't much point to it. The idea behind it was; if a player wants to leave and they are the only one that has points they could pass them off to the next best so the remaining players can try to earn them back without sending others deeper into the negatives, or...
