Why we're you using Apache anyway?? Web site? Well kinda. For me, Adium file transfers are very slow (10kpbs) and unreliable. So I put the files I want to transfer in my Sites folder (I'm on Mac OS X) and give the link to my buddies. Much faster (80kbps), but now that I disabled Apache I don't know...

A notorious culprit is having Apache running in the background. Basically, if you have a web server on your home connection, you can forget playing BZFlag. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong here. OMG... I totally forgot I enabled Apache months ago, and was wondering why I had high lag recently. Than...

I've had this crashing for a long time. Finally someone who has the same problem as me. I thought it was caused by my CPU overheating (it's overclocked) but that didn't make much sense since I run processor intensive games and sometimes do movie encoding, but only BZFlag freezes. Also I did a test t...

Merci
the CPU overclock was the fun part - although very stressful! (hardware OC: I had to open up my eMac)
the card is just a software OC with ATIccelerator II

Don't OC. Your CPU is most likely overheating and thus using its useful thermal limit to kill power, don't OC and play BZFlag, bad combo. Same feature is built into intel P4s (maybe P3) and new AMD CPUs. Mac's have this too, if they didn't you'd have fried eMac. :( thanks for the reply. the problem...

BTW, what version of Mac OS X do you have? should of posted that: Mac OS 10.4.3 I would try resetting your CPU back to 1Ghz... (I never knew Macs could overclock ) I hope there is a better solution because opening an eMac is a hell of a job... did it once, no sure I want to do it again...

Serious crash on Mac OS X, BZFlag 2.0.4
When I play BZFlag online my Mac suddenly freezes after a few minutes and I have to hard restart. I tried a few diffrent servers, and the crash happens every time after a few minutes of play... Of course my bzflag.crash.log doesn't get written because I have to hard restart  I tried to delete ...
