IMHO this is not 100% a proxy problem ... for me it looks like a DNS problem, the error says: Looking up Hostname: Host not found So the used resolver is not able to resolve the hostname to ip. Yes, i also noticed much local jitter and less FPS in 1.x with depthbuffer turned on and ATI binary only crap drivers .... but this is gone with 2.0.0 :)

lspci is located at directory /sbin, but /sbin is not in a normal user path. So you have to call it with /sbin/lspci -vv but to output full information lspci needs root rights, so you have to start it as user root an root has /sbin in path For the output you get "pure virtual method called"...

I also run SUSE 9.1 and don't have any problems. I played some hours today no freese at all.
May this is a driver/hardware issue. What hardware you have and which driver versions ?

Smal problem with nonpublic server

Its usual for matchservers that there not listed in public server list. But if i start my matchserver nonpublic (no -public option) its not possible to authenticate users with global logins. Is there a way around this issue ?

I need a option like -nolistpublic or -usegloballogins

Hi, i noticed my client is crashing when connecting to trepan.homelinux.net:7890 Loosy Rocks trepan.homelinux.net:8192 Ares,Spheres and Cones all other servers seams to work perfectly. So this maybee is only a issue on trepans test servers, because he test something .... but better to write it down....

I agree with you :), a player how has fired all shots or droped the shield-flag by hit shoudn't be able to catch the same flag again. Only the player just killed the flagcarrier should be able to catch the flag in the air. Normaly the flag disapears after reaching the highest point, on the way back ...
