This idea rocks! :D Is it possible that it could be made into a server option? Like something that the admin could set in the config file for the server. But then it might be better to make the /register command work on an admin approved basis. Say someone typed "/register password".. and ...

The "new" typing style that Chik is using really scares me. I don't think I realized just how cute the old style was until she stopped using it. :(:(:(

Uhh. Not to be mean or anything... but maybe you should lighten up widowmaker. Chik's typing isn't annoying to me. I think it's funny/cute. :)

Just a brief note on that link to the MadCity map... that is the "original" MadCity.. not the "Modified" MadCity that used to run on Hashmark. :(

I don't mean it literally makes them a team. Don't you get it??? Let me spell it out... Making a "rogue geno" makes rogues a sort of "team".. they key words being "sort of." The reason an entire team can die with genocide is because they are a team . They try to support...

Methinks Koba doesn't have much experience playing as a rogue. :P If rogues can be killed by a "geno" flag... they are the same thing as a team... but they are allowed to kill eachother as well. This is really a very flawed idea. I don't play as much FFA as I used to, but when I did I rare...

Wellllll... I'll say it again... two of the obvious purposes of being rogues are #1 to be able to kill everyone without restriction and #2 to be un-affected by geno. Making a "rogue geno" would be really unfair to the rogues. This simply means that they might as well be on a team.. but the...

I'm with ya on that, strayer. I don't think that it's really appropriate to "ask the community".. because what we think has no bearing on the outcome of the match. As for having a ref for every match.. that could cause trouble. A lot of people don't like reffing.. or there isn't a capable ...

If you went along with it.. you should probabily stick by the match results. It's only common sense not to play when the lag is that bad.

I haven't the foggiest about what's going on... but I will tell you that this is a somewhat common problem. I talked to some guys (when I was looking for a broadband provider) that had the exact same trouble with other online games. I think it was something to do with IP assignment?

Go to the "Teams" page (http://www.bzflag.org/league/index.php?link=teams&) and down at the bottom there is a button that says "Create A New Team"... and that's what ya want to click. ;)

The highest percentage agrees that it is "without honor"... I think that really settles it. I don't see it as a "game tactic".. I see it as a desparate attempt to gain some positional advantage over the other team. To me.. this is stupid. If you can't survive by using your skills...
