yeah, it's way funky

I'm at 37.5 122.16 (Berkeley, just east of San Francisco, CA). If the defaults are at SGI HQ in Mountain View, it should be perfect for me. However, leaving at default or specifically setting those coordinates give me day at night and night at day. I've tried a few things to see if it's a simple mat...

Set the weather

I've hacked up a script to set the weather on my BZFlag server (felix.monkeynoodle.org). Perl and Linux only, built on Mandrake but should work on any Unix. Feel free to play with it.

map-related performance problems?

Hi all,

I'm running a server and having decent performance with some maps, terrible performance with others. I can't really see a big difference in map complexity...

bad perf:
2_castles.map
IggyWorld-2.0.map
spiralsdone7CTF.map

good:
Xmission2.map
BagCity_110.map

any ideas?
