Re: Leagues United, where are you?

p.s. The icon I would have chose is this one https://github.com/allejo/bzion/blob/master/web/assets/imgs/bzflag_icon.png rather then identicons.(that's only my opinion) It was a decision fairly early on to use identicons in the event a user or team doesn't have an avatar set. This way, not everyone...

Re: Rikers

I am in favor of this idea. The GU League is the "Games United" League, not the "American and European" League. The Riker Cup, in my opinion, should reflect this sentiment. I think the main issue with the proposal, however, is the lag limit. 200ms is not going to give many additi...

Re: Quickshot league

would i want to have website like unto that website? I don't know what kind of website we would want for this... It's your league, that's really up to you. If you want functionality similar to the GU and Ducati League websites, then the bz-owl project is probably a good choice. Ok, just so you all ...

Re: Quickshot league

I don't know what i would want if i am going to put up a website, would i want a website like unto the GU website, or would a blog just do fine? If you want to allow matches to be reported, users to register, teams to be created, etc, then I would definitely go with the bz-owl project I linked befo...

Re: Quickshot league

To be honest, there aren't enough active players to even maintain the current leagues. A new league most likely wouldn't be able to draw enough activity to survive. If you are serious about making a quickshot league, however, there's a lot of planning that needs to be done, such as coordinating matc...

Re: Round Robin (All Teams Play) Team Cup

Before I say anything, let me clarify that the tournament you suggested is not a round-robin tournament . You are describing a single-elimination tournament . With that out of the way, I surprisingly like this idea--a single-elimination cup similar to the 1vs1 tournament that proves who the current ...

Re: Team Elemination Cup Suggestion

So essentially you are just planning an official match several days in advance... What's the fun if only one other team gets to participate? I guess I don't see how you're "testing" your team cup by only having two team participate, one of them being your team. Why not add something more i...

If any information is incorrect, let me know. I'll try to keep it updated with the most recent information as the admins rel...

That is what I have been doing. I just alt-tab out of the game instead of hitting the windows key after I hit F1. It gets rather annoying after a while.

1. He probably doesn't have the modeling skills to make a model of her, I know I would never be able to do that.

It would be better if you removed the player names (the S key) and the radar and console (W and Q, IIRC). That way, we can clearly see the screenshot next time.
