Re: Objects go transparent at times (MacOS, 2.4.22)
Well I for one consider a Whammo apology to be totally worth the price of admission to this thread. However disingenuous. :-p

Re: Objects go transparent at times (MacOS, 2.4.22)
Yeah I figured it was something unique with the way those surfaces were being rendered on APOC. Thanks for the diagnostics. As to "helpful", yeah I suppose if I could condition myself to exactly where and what triggered them I could use the side transparencies to advantage. But when the to...

Objects go transparent at times (MacOS, 2.4.22)
Having this weird issue where I land on objects and they sometimes go transparent. Very annoying / distracting (I don't need any additional constraints to success). BZFlag v2.4.22, MacOS Big Sur 11.5.2 Happens quite regularly on APOC, not sure if I've seen in on other maps but I'm gonna pay more att...

Re: Mockup of new menu
Nicely done. Of the three color selections provided (assuming there won't be an option to configure this), I'd go with the green as a tribute to the roots of the whole thing. Any thoughts as to layer/level 2 of the menu system? e.g. will it be straight click through to a second full screen for each ...

Re: BZFlag crashes at iMac with OS X 10.7.1 Lion :-(
I have a similar but maybe not exact problem. Brand new iMAC OSX Lion 10.7.2. (first time MAC so entirely likely this is a DFU/PEBCAK issue) Download 2.4 for OSX. Install. Click to run. Blink (black and back). Nothing. Tried 2.0.16 as a diagnostic - same results. Something simple a MAC install needs...

PL221 -thanks for the help (via IRC) on this one - the laptop issue. It was the video drivers that must have got mucked up (with the Halo update fail). Reinstalled and all is well with that machine. :D Unfortunately the desktop issue is still going strong (horrible performance on any BZFLag version ...

bzflag.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.
Problem: Can't start BZFlag. Windows error: "bzflag.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Problem began around the time (can't be sure its in lockstep as hadn't started BZFlag in a week or so prior) I ran into a problem with on online update...
