Re: Looking for testers of a networking tech demo

Why only 64bit?

Are you going to offer 32bit too? And only if so, how soon?

Thank you

Re: UI Mockup

@trpted I'm pretty sure it's just a simple image, not in-game yet, unfortunately. #1 So, you used Photoshop / GIMP (or something like that/those programs/apps) to create that? #2 Any ETA as how soon that can used/will be used in game? Re: Pause/spawn camping possiblity

Ok, while I did not verify that Some maps already have it but it will not affect someone who is paused. and I have reason to believe that is true: Using World Weapon near the base, but this time a little bit different. Instead of on capture, it protects the base. Currently: One can go to the other t...

Re: Pause/spawn camping possiblity

Answering my own question. Seriously, the only thing that I can think of: They could have a world weapon in the map so that if there is a team capture, automatically there is a shock wave near the base that got there team flag captured. Of course, they have to add this feature to the map if t...

Cmon guys, consistency..
When I went to YouTube, typed in bzflag as a search term, and from filters selected sort by date I see more recent than 12/10/2014 video(s).

At date and time of this post: Most recent was from 10/2015.

If the map style is OpenFFA, if you are a rouge, OR if the game style is Rabbit and you are the Rabbit - that is perfectly normal.

Re: issues with Zoned.bzw

Let us try it again, but a little bit different. Since no teleporter lets me into my area where my base is - without making the map bigger ( for example -worldsize 270 ) so that I can go around the teleporter, disabling the link for the teleporter that protects my base OR changing the map in anyway ...

Thanks for that info, but it was a two part question.

You forgot: How does one manually return it?

Please answer that part to, for this map - after it converted to CTF.

I figure out how to make the game CTF style, but I have a question.

How does one bring the flag to their base?

Ok.

Do you suggest that with this computer I, use it as only a server for BZFlag OR use it for a different purpose (two examples come to mind: As NAT router, as a NAS) ??

Re: BZFLAG crash: Segmentation fault (core dumped)

The Radeon 7000 is very old card (about 15 years), so the binary fglrx driver in today's distributions no longer supports it. So, do not try to install fglrx, it will not work at all. I'd have thought that the open source radeon driver would have been active, though, especially on Ubuntu (which doe...

I will check the server side (what that thread of yours is about), if it happens too. [EDIT] Nope, seems fine here. I take that back. For example when I load the test.bzw file from http://www.icosaedro.it/bze/ it crashes, but other than that it is working/works. (line 51): unknown object parameter ...

Based on the logs you provided, it appears that you possibly do not have OpenGL support correctly configured on your system. You may want to make sure that you have drivers installed for your GPU. You might want to take a look at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RestrictedDrivers Ok, how does one ...

BZFLAG crash: Segmentation fault (core dumped)

At /var/log/kernel.log I got this

Oct 24 20:44:41 pc-name kernel: [29526.451905] bzflag[4274]: segfault at 0 ip 081b83b9 sp bf955df0 error 4 in bzflag[8048000+250000]
Do you have any ideas of how to fix it so this does not happen anymore?

Thank you
