it was just like any other tournament that I have ever entered. And frankly, a high-end nvidia card is a tasty little treat for whomever the winner would've been. I hope this starts off again in the near future (preferably after august), as I think that would be neat! ;) Thanks for the effort though...

I would like to be there -- probably can't contribute anything useful, but I would still like to know about it. I will be out of town until monday evening earliest. Go on without me of course, if it is decided to hold it within the next couple o days.

Peace

iirc, and my knowledge of this is highly limited, that would require texture changes on the tank itself. I think Patlabor221, and the good captain_proton were talking about having redefinable textures on tankage some time ago on IRC. If I'm wrong, I'm sure they'll slap me around abit ;) It would be ...

think of it this way: you can get money, or points, and buy stuff in the shop. For bzflag specific stuff (although it's utterly useless), I was thinking of like: thick armor, greater shot count, higher accuracy, a hit points type of system, and damage points (ala d&d), etc. Haven't really looked...

regretfully, it still happens, no matter how old you are.

Dunno if there's anything to be done about it -- it's really a function of how strict / lax and quantity of admins for a given server.

still works, the way I wrote it -- cept the build process is different now -- thanks for pointing that out, I'll have to change it. In short -- the cvs commands still apply, but the build process is (from the bzflag directory you get from cvs: ./autogen.sh ./configure make {optionally} make install ...

hrm -- lemme make sure my thing is still accurate -- by the way, sf cvs for bzflag has been somewhat sketchy lately -- not sure if it still is though.

points / money is on my TODO list, along with an RPG shop mod. They take a little while, and I wanna make sure these mods are functioning correctly first. Plus, the money / rpg mods, while neat, are essentially useless ;) But yes, there is a plan for rpg / money mods. Be patient - it will come. Peac...

what? please try and explain clearly what you mean -- I don't understand 'then when I put it in, there will be no telis' .

Are you referring to maps here, or at shellshock?

Please try and clarify, and I'll try to help you out.

Attachments are here!

All, I just finished the attachment mod, and it seems to work quite nicely. Currently, the only allowable attachments are .txt and image files. The size limits are set (for now) to 256 Kb. So please don't ask me why you can't attach something larger than that. Please feel free to test it out, and pl...

learner's ground assault was in mad effect yo! but his jumping skillz leave much to be desired ;)

That was great fun -- hope we can do it again sometime soon.

I llike the idea of a decks league, although perhaps a 2 shot limit would be better?
