I get a 2:1 to 3:1 kill ratio on Badgers and typically have a score over 100 by the time I leave, but I've done better on others.

I don't see how killing them helps. You should just ask them to stop. All killing them does is promote the dislike. Like I said defore, the dislike is already there. At least in the case of killing them as a response, they have achieved nothing themselves in the theft, and it may even curb their in...

Anyone who would steal a team mate's flag doesn't have good feelings to begin with. There is no bad feelings left unprovoked.

The true weakness is lack of trust of team mates. With that lost, the team is doomed. No other action would weaken it more. To overlook the action only invites further destruction by more stealing in the future. Don't try too protect those who would destroy their team by stealing team mate's flags. ...

I'm willing to take a score loss to tk someone who steals a powerfull flag from me. I'll get that score back soon enough, but I'm not willing to overlook that kind of smacktard anti-teamwork behaviour.

I liked rogue geno in Badgerking's FFA. Many who have played Badgerking would know me as someone who normally does pretty well in the game, often getting a 2 or 3:1 kill/death ratio. Game arenas like this one sometimes have locations where rogues time after time will camp themselves in a location wi...

If the GM turning circle is set tight enough, no amount of dodging or hiding behind objects can save you. Only stealth or luck could be your friend. There was a server running a while back that had it that tight. I got accused once of having a cheat that shot GM through walls because the other playe...

My vision of a "countermeasure" flag is a little different. Any tank within a certain radius around your tank with the countermeasure flag has it's own flag effects nullified no matter what kind of flag they hold. E.g. GM,Laser,SW & SB will all revert to normal shots, wings will fail t...

Yeah, rogue geno is pretty cool. And while getting killed because another rogue got hit might suck, having the geno makes it pretty easy to up your kill ratio by deliberately shooting yourself*.

* used wisely, of course.

There's one behaviour I've noticed that the tk provisions don't cover. As a case example, a while back I was carrying the enemy flag on the final run to my team's base. I had carried it all the way from the enemy base, but was being chased by a persistant enemy tank. I passed a friendly tank that wa...

It may be useful when facing one foe and another is firing at you from your flank. But I think that since it is harder to dodge bullets you can't see in front of you the usefulness would be somewhat limited.

Idea : CTF speed handicap in unbalanced team numbers

When team numbers become unbalanced, people don't always do the right thing about immediately re-balancing the numbers or holding back on capturing the smaller team's flag. It occurred to me that one way to help overcome this may be to slow the opposing team flag bearer's speed according to the team...

Maps can be configured to have no bad flags.

Surely then if both instant deaths and bad flags are considered part of the game then it would stand to reason to have instant deaths configurable as well.

Well duh... but all of those quoted are attributes for certain flags. Being able to select and mix those attributes may amount to the same thing as if you had multiple flags.

The possibilities of creating super flags are endless  such as cloak and laser together (a rogue could let lose with shots all over the place without fear of hitting themselves 8) ) or GM and Wings (you could call it the Apache Longbow  )

I voted yes to this on a technicality. The technicality is that all games are inherantly violent in one way or another. I remember reading about where a man wouldn't let his son play any violent games, which in his definition included any form of competition. In the end, his son was stuck with one g...

SWs don't go forward much when your moving forward. ;) Which is a good thing to remember when you AND your opponent have SW. Most people in that situation will charge you. Let them charge you and back off yourself, all the time firing the SW. You will have the better range and most of the time will...

Likewise, stealthed tanks are still better than unstealthed tanks at creeping up on you even though their jumps and landings make the usual sound. They are ...
