The ww zone plug in may help, maybe a base defense button. You push it, and all the traps go off!

What are the traps gonna be like? A WW laser? Maybe holes that kill you, or a bullet drop, which is lots of bullets from the ceiling.

I'm trying to get on Wings Wizardry, but it never seems to be on. Still trying. And gun-sense, that would actually work. You could give a specific team a certain flag that you mod to do just that.

A Vicious Muffin What I'm saying is the turret only rotates when the turret is planted. Constitution I suppose you could do that. Make the tank vulnerable to shots coming down, since I thought burrowed tanks were simply invulnerable. Silly me :oops: . The idea is especially for not velocity servers...

An idea- and no, it isn't THAT game-breaking, or maybe it is

I've been thinking about an idea. What if you could choose if your tank was a bit faster, but couldn't turn as fast, turns faster but can't move as quickly, or is just normal? You could expand that to having different teams have different characteristics, like red team moves faster,blue team turns b...

That could be neat. Then, make the objects invisible, but become more visible as you get close. Or, a game where players shoot PZ bullets, so they can't kill each other, but instead hit targets. You get points for that.

That would be awesome!
You could make a crazy maze with no radar, and when you drive into the wrong color wall, you explode :twisted: .
You might have switches to open a door (It still is there, but becomes translucent.)

I already figured that on a 100x100 map, you need 100,000 ww points, and because the shots are client side, not server side, and the server doesn't "know" actually where a bullet is. It knows shot and hit. And if you had the clients download the areas, a cheater would make them all go off every time...

I play (Depending on my flag and location) from 0%, on a no-radar server (DUH!), to 99% on a very dark server. Normally, I use both to counter CL and ST, as well as getting high accuracy.

You know, that would be sort of cheap. It would be easy to see enemy ST tanks sneaking up on you, thus imbalancing the game

On a similar note, I'm being asked to change my callsign there by an admin, because the word boink is filtered there or considered a curse word. Is that dumb? I've never received complaints until now.

Thanks for all the help. What I'm designing is a long map that has two teams. Each has an identical set of difficult obstacles (and lots of sniping opportunities) I'm working on making a one-sided mesh (you know, shootthrough one side, not the other.

EDIT: the simple world size/scale thing doesnt work, trying the other one..
EDIT: The mesh works, but how do I change the playing area? You get autokicked for leaving the normal 400x400 area ;p

Similar ideas to the homing SW have been widely discussed and rejected in the past. IIRC, long reload has been approved by Tim Riker - don't expect it any time soon.
