Send your flag home

I've noticed a few people carrying the team flag send it back to their base on it's own. They seem to do some sort of jumping manuevre to achieve this, then it flies back home on it's own.
Does anyone know how to do this?

Blast:
I had bad lag with a USB NIC
Can I clarify, was this a USB driven, plug-me-in-with-a-network-cable socket? Or a wireless dongle?
Thanks

Screen capturing is very resource intensive. I've never tried to capture during gaming, but I capture a lot of desktop work for teaching purposes. Generally, hardware acceleration needs to be off to avoid black screening. (Right-click desktop, properties, settings, advanced, troubleshoot, slider to ...

Very fast shooting

I rode with a leader in observer mode to pick up some tips. When he shot, it was three shots in very quick succession which proved very effective.
I fire by rapid left-clicking. Is there a way to fire faster, or in a cluster?
I'm using WindowsXP btw.
Thanks

No NIC??? How are you posting to these forums?
Ah, sorry. That was a misleading sentance I see now. I mean I don't have a wired NIC (mobo or PCI). I have USB wireless networking.

All my PCI slots are full, but I have no NIC. Does anyone have experience of a USB NIC? If so, is it quick enough to play?

Thanks

"Busy Flag" Lol! :D blast: Anything less than 30FPS is probably too low, and will cause issues like higher lag and jitter. See if the "Fast" setting runs faster for you. Ah, ok, I'll play with these- thanks. toh: thanks - if you're using a wireless LAN, use a different channel, ...

toh, Jitter is the measured variation in network latency between you and the server. You might be able to lower it by doing some of the following: Thanks for the advice. I think perhaps I have a combo of problems. The game is run on a older rig (athlon 1ghz, 128m agp2 vid, 1g ram, usb wlan) and, to ...

Hi All Discovered BZFlag 2 days ago - brilliant! I've some questions if you have time? 1. How do you pronounce the name (bee-zed-flag, bee-zee-flag as in like busy-flag), or does it matter? 2. While following someone as an observer, I saw them move sideways; not just rotate, but actually slide sidew...
