the spawn system does a projection into the first solid geometry (or ground) that it finds below the computed spawn location. It doesn't support spawning in the air by default. You need a plug-in to override the spawn location (such as airspawn).

The original design for Rabbit Chase did have faster rabbits, but as a trade off, they could not shoot. The current version with vicious rabbits removes the speed but allows them to shoot. There is the bzdbVariable sendObserverHeartbeat, it's intended to keep connections open, but it does not provide any visual feedback for the status of an observer.

Bzflag is not a chat program, use skype.

You need to provide source code with your binary package. You should link to a zip file that contains the sources with your changes.

Been working on fixing the tester application based on feedback. I'm trying to make it provide a better picture of what is going on inside the game state, so I've made some changes to the menus and hud. There is not currently a headless server. Testing must be done on multiple machines, That' the entire point of the test, to check real world network functionality, not 2 things running on the same machine. Torque is not as finished as people think it is (I've owned it when it was first released for ...

Looks to be a problem in the engine that has been reported on 32 bit systems with older video cards/drivers. 64 bit is the most commonly suggested solution

I can build a Linux 32 bit version tonight. The target for this is modern hardware, so I can not ensure how it will run on older systems.

Nope,but the art style is similar. That's from a functional multiplayer test app, with a mock up GUI. It s playable but not pretty

The bzflag development team has not finished doing it's SVN to Git conversion, so there is no one repository to put the bins on.

I would talk to them about it in IRC
