If you have the @ character to the left of your name, you're an admin. + means you're registered, and - means registered name but bad auth.

I'd like shaders and mostly graphical improvements; customizable tanks would also be nice :)
The UI is also hard to understand currently; mouse controls should be implemented.
I think the main focus of BZFlag is now competitive, so there should be an emphasis on that.

Football would be fairly easy with a plugin, but soccer and tank control are much harder.

Hmm, an unmodified version of that map seems to be impossible to capture the flag, if that's what you're trying to fix. Team flags can be manually returned by carrying them back; drive over them, take them to a safe place, then drop them.

Look at the "flag" and "team"" parameters, I think those are the ones.

You can pick up the flag and manually return it, or you can add a "flag safety" zone, so flags will return to there when dropped in a bad place, ie. places that kill you, non-flat surfaces.
