what os do you use? i know that on macosx and maybe linux you type in terminal or command line: cd ~/.bzf then open -e config this will open it in textedit on macosx, but not sure about linux. and i have NO idea about win32, so don't ask me. ask elmer fudd also, he has more expertise than me at comm...

nm...i found out...1.11 is available from the bzflag.org website, but only win32... :(

i use osx, and I haven't gotten any instructions that really worked for compiling cvs...

that would be good...but what if someone marks people at random? or if it's like autopilot w/ server messages, they can just spam...

i've tried bzfs...never worked out for me :(

i have an airport LAN network, so i can't do pubserver...(unless I connect right to the dsl modem)

i was just doing the in-game to look at maps...i find it faster...

how do you take a screenshot? i've accidently pressed a couple buttons and took a few screenshots, but i don't know which key.

they probably turned it off in normal play because if someone camps e.g. with stealth, you see a name sticking up somewhere, so that makes camping no point.

good to know...

also, when I have all the options on (texturing, dithering etc.), the screen or game (not sure which) hangs, and I can't do anything, but I can still move the mouse.

The root level of your hard drive. Just open it, and you should see it somewhere around that window.
