Strangely reminds of WinXP's Chaos Valley - I like that style, a lot.
Interesting ;)

I voted for the older version, and here's why: 1. I have a slow computer, and the new structures make gameplay a little too jumpy. 2. The new map provides too much space for tanks to occupy. It's harder to find victims. 3. My GM camping spot isn't as good as it used to be. 4. 7 wing flaps is 4 to m...

Put the small attached file into your bzflag directory, then run the attached file (it is called "bzflagbots" Then join a server, and 4 bots will be with you. You can edit the file in notepad to change the number of bots if you wish. To prevent security concerns, here is the file code: bzf...

Up on camelot.myvnc.com:5154.

If it attracts some decent traffic I may leave it up - I'm "map shopping". :-D

I tweaked the tank speed a little, to better suit the openness of the playing field. ;)

If you have any problems with it, let me know.

I don't like the idea at all - >Anything< can happen when people scrapple over money online. There are so many cheaters and modd'ers that a cash prize could create utter havoc. I doubt you will have much interest, because: 1) You have no rep in the forum [ no offence ] 2) Possible cheating/patches 3...

why not use -advertise? a password has it's drawbacks, for example if the password leaks. this is more likely if you have lots of people knowing the password. If I understand right, -advertise takes the server off the public list, correct? This requires the end-user to enter the servername and port...

Public Server Passwords [ Required for entry]

After playing Digital Paint Paintball 2 for some time, I find the server password function there very useful. Servers with the password enabled are public, unlike the current bzflag method, which requires either group'ed spawn permissions, or just hosting the server privately [ not on the publiclist...
