There is a formal place to submit flag ideas on the bzflag wiki somewhere at http://my.bzflag.org/w , I am pretty sure I have seen somthing like that before. The enhancments section is still a great place for review. I actually really like this idea. You could implement it with a few server variable...

Actually, I like that fild name.

We need to figure out a way to identify it as optional, and the password, though. Any ideas? The password field, then email, seem to be the most confusing for people who don't know how it works.

What router are you using when it happens? When my Linksys/Cisco is on, it does not happen. Only with the D-Link router does it occur, it has to do with how D-Link handles low-priority packets I have heard.

I have my keyboard mapped to tab as jump, click to fire, space/middle mouse button to fire, and right click to identify, amoung others. I don't know about Darwiinremote, but you can easially change the GlovePIE script to match your setup:

Right now some servers use a SW to clear anyone who wants to take the team flag and run, before anyone appears. Simply delay the flag.

Really, I think running off with the flag is not fair (reguardless of the fact I still do it), and that camping with a SW, ect is part of the stratagy. I do not like stoping this with more active rules like a world weapon, but more passive like delaying the flag's appearence.
