Wrong forum: Move to enhancements.
Even if it was removed as a feature, it would be remade as a plug-in.

(Triple Barrel, AirStrike, Grenade and more..) If you need help with anything, feel free to ask. (I've done plug-ins, maps, scripts and more and ...

ScoreReset - Reset all player scores on command
A simple command /scorereset for admins (players who hold the ban permission), which enables resetting all player scores on the server. A message is announced to all users when this does occur so as to prevent confusion from occurring when this does occur. This plug-in may be helpful in manually run...

Re: The forums and the game client have different username requirements.
Somewhat related: There is a long term goal for overhauling the authentication system as a whole, if I remember correctly. It would be less confusing for newcomers, as there would not be the tying of registering to a forum and the authentication of users in game. Players wouldn't be subject to forum...

Re: New Release: 2.4.26 "Tanksgiving"
Where is the anti-cheat code? When is the scoring going to be fixed? When are the graphics going to be brought into the 2020's? If you could create some effective anti-cheat, it would be accepted. When is the scoring going to be fixed? I have some plug-ins which fix some of the scoring issues in so...

Random object placement scripts
I liked the idea of random generator , it reminds me of GrassTuftGenerator which employed a different method for object placement. I recreated version 1 of the " random generator " in Python 3 and find it an interesting experiment to try to work/toy with. bzrandom-0-1.txt I release my work...

Anim8orToBZW - Now in lightweight Python script
This is a port of Anim8or to BZW Converter by Evanejk to the Python scripting language. I did a previous port of it, but since I've looked over my previous work and found it lacking as well as having some bugs, it was rewritten entirely. Anim8orToBZW.zip Instructions on making map: Make the map in a...

Re: Apocalypse In Action :: Planet MoFo
On the other hand, a magic zone that converts bullets to SB (e.g. for fleeing into to be able to fire back at a pursuing 1-shot PZ) would surely be interesting (albeit perhaps too gimmicky or special-cased). Edit: Updated post with additional details/background on 2023-11-23 The concept of Powerup ...

Expanding the API - How some changes allow greater possibilities
Expanding the API - How some changes allow greater possibilities After noticing some striking similarities in HumansVsZombies, a simple "tag game" plug-in, and Rabbit Hunt/Chase, it demonstrates the issue of API limitations over the years and how new possibilities emerge with integration o...

Re: Public Server for single player
If you decide to join a server and wait for players, I'd recommend choosing server(s)/map(s) which play well with small player counts. The maps should play well 4+ players for 2 vs 2 for Capture The Flag, and 3+ players for Free For All, Rabbit Chase, and Open Free For All. In general, you can eithe...

Re: Horrible scoring - Why custom game modes aren't popular and suck
I think the why of regular players is mainly down to the method of consumption of games nowadays - casual play has moved from desktops / laptops to Steam, phones and tablets with all the shiny bells and whistles attached to that. While the BZ devs avoid / can't get to that route the game continues ...

Re: Horrible scoring - Why custom game modes aren't popular and suck
I haven't been active for quite some time, so it seems like I'm just an inactive player who brings up a non-issue. You do bring up a very good point of regular players being few. For as to why, it would make a good thread. Even though my suggestions for enhancements to be made at this point may seem...

Update:
Limited reactions would be useful. As in ones which state a post has been informative, helpful and similar, but reactions which are emoji-like, would not be good or useful and would do more harm than good.
