Wish granted :) You can start the Riot again. Sorry about that, appears a plugin fail took it down.

Re: Random Map spawnzones

is it possible to have flag spawnzones on a random map and if so how can it be done im making several bzpaintball servers and people who have been paintballing will know that there is a mode like ctf but called centre flag so the flags are in the middle of the map but i want the bases to stay where...

Usually it ends up being look in the source code for the nitty gritty. A collaborative effort to document things down to the nitty gritty of BZFlag would be amazing. (That's what the wiki's for by the way) I agree sigonasr2, I have edited the link page on the wiki. To state the information shown he...

Plink 3-team FFA

Plink is a 3 team Sniping map. The angles of the map, make it difficult to have a safe position.

Input is welcome.

Re: Castle Garden, my first map

If you use a lot of arcs and cones with a high number of divisions, this can cause a problem with a lot of them. On complex maps like this, it is usually better to use mesh simply because it uses less faces to achieve the same task. If you need help with using a modeler like wings3d. I would be glad...

Grace for instance I say exceptional on a server with errr idk, firing squad, and he doesn't ban me, gives me a light warning to calm down. Then I say wtf on a server with brad and he bans me. How is this a message? So admins make their own rules basically? I agree to a point and I must say some of...

It would seem that if you want your teammate to be able to play more matches, perhaps he should not use bad language? Seem Logical? Its very simple.

Re: Please Read

Could it be due to the increase in the use of bad language? If there is a crime spree in my home town, I certainly hope to see a increase in arrests. Perhaps everyone should just follow the rules, because children play this game. And as a parent myself, i would ban anyone who uses bad language on my...

Re: Randomly Rotated Blocks on a Map

bzfs generates ducati maps.

Code: Select all

bzfs -cr -mp 0,10,10,0,0,10
That generates a random map via bzfs, there are many other options for that on the wiki. ---> http://wiki.bzflag.org/Sample_conf

But to generate a random map via a script is simple enough to do.

Not sure in windows but there is a nvidia control center for Linux where you can set vsync. I would think there would be on Windows as well.

Ruby Generated map

This is mainly for experiment, but I have written a ruby script to create a CTF with 3 fast shots and superflags. I'm constantly tweaking the script to improve gameplay, it also includes random world weapons. Input would be greatly appreciated.

Cool Map FA. I recommend adding flatshading to all your arcs. I would also recommend adding -set _noClimb 0, just thinking about the mid of the map.

Nice work

you can also specify a color.
