I'm happy importing other sets of admins from other places that I know ... Just to let you know: There is a high chance this will result in having a ton of admins, who anyway won't visit the map, as they prefer only their favorite map. This happened often in the bz community. I enjoy finding a new ...

Thanks for the responses, guys. I'm on a cable modem, very fast. And I've actually seen packet loss, lag and UDP warnings. I'm on a newer macbook pro, graphics card, etc. I think I am just over-thinking being disconnected as harsh. I'll tweak some stuff and keep trying... Are you on wireless on you...

While I have some skepticism (naturally, of course, hope you understand) because of the fact that you registered today and your request is quite unusual, but please contact me at my e-mail address: bzmeteorite[at]gmail[dot]com or via private messaging here on the BZBB. If it is not currently happening to you I recommend that you need not to worry.

It can mean several things, most likely your callsign or password was wrong or the list server was down. As for asking for you to identify yourself, it was likely the server required registration.

There were two iBZEdits. One by BinarySpike and one by macnus.

I don't remember the versions of BinarySpike's, but macnus's latest (now abandoned) is 0.3.5.

Most people highly recommend you to use a standard cross-platform editor, such as Teppic's BZWTools (for Blender), or BZWorkBench.

That would be up to A_Meteorite. The version you know and love is his and he has not released it for general hosting. Only my IRC name has an underscore. ;) Cobra_Fast If you would like to help host it again, you could donate to BZFX. I'd gladly host Boxy War along with some other favorite BZFX maps.

Sorry to everyone who had servers hosted with us. If I may, I'd like to recommend BZFX, who will likely soon be the proud renters of a nice, skippy server, and I understand will be renting out server space at nominal rates. Yes, we will be buying (I mean, bribing) the government for IPv4 addresses ...

It appears the ANSI codes were copied as well.

What Terminal are you using? Terminal encoding? OS? BZAdmin version?

That'd be a start.

PZ as a flag is pretty specialized, and its "special" properties aren't generally that useful. To be honest, I'd rather it be dropped from the game. Agreed. The only thing I've ever seen it properly used for is the zombie mode, and to be honest that was too complicated to really catch on....

I'm assuming you're using a Windows OS. This seems to be commonplace with Windows.

Try reducing that count even lower. Possibly 2. That is a lot of good flags unless you have a large map.

You could wait for the account to expire because of the lack of verification (I do remember the board admins saying they expire in a certain amount of days without verification, so you could re-register it then). Make sure to check your spam box too. If you typed the e-mail address wrong, you're out...

Yes, you went not responding. They are not paused. They just have the same little black globe around them.

This is a known problem with certain routers. As for why, I don't think it is certain, but it is related to how certain routers handle TCP and UDP after long durations of inactivity.

I do not think SpawnPolicy actually kicks players. No one was getting kicked as far as I know... it was just a log issue. I was referring to... and for us, (who is playing) it just says "name" joining as a tank from "ip" then "name" siging off from "ip"

No, it is not possible to customize your tank or anyone else's tank. And it has been denied several times.

Everyone will have the same type of tank.

Good start.

The tank edges need some cleaning up with the fingers. The pinky is under the tank.

Also, I would think the tank should be in sepia tone like the rest of the picture, unless that was your intent.

Anyway, nice job. :)

The only problem I can see with this map is a low FPS for anyone with less than 2GB of RAM. But other than that you surely have raised the bar for map makers by a considerable amount. RAM is not that high in the requirements list, really. It's really about the video card. I run this map on a GMA 95...

Some maps are more graphically intensive than others. For instance, many Louman maps will kill my card, while other, simpler maps, has FPS out the roof. If your graphics driver is indeed the latest, that's the only for-sure thing I can point to. It's interesting that it was faster in 98 for you. Are...
