Ski, great work you are doing.
I have but one suggestion ... can you change the background and/or text color, as it is very hard to read some of the white text on the camo background.

SB problem?
Twice while playing on xmission, I escaped certain death from superbullets. Multiple shots, which should have destroyed me, seemed to go right through me. I can't write it off to lag since the first time I was moving directly toward the SB tank (pyramid between us), and the second time both tanks ha...

Server: bzflag.dynu.com
Well, it's just cable-modem server, but bzflag.dynu.com has been getting some business now that happypenguin is down. Currently playing the 'fields and stream' map, but changes occasionally as map-makers want to test their creations. Cheaters, teamkillers and excessive cursing are not tolerated. I j...

Yes, very good idea. As an alternative, if for some reason the MD isn't familiar with server command-line options, the .txt file should at least provide a list of flags, jump, rico, antidote options, etc. In this particular case, I just assumed the basic setup of xmission, but the flags probably don...

Just a guess, but how about if you create your own platform that matches that of the base in dimensions and position? It would also make the map more uniform on servers using less than all four teams. Might work. You may have to make the platform ever so slightly lower than the base. I'll probably p...

Hmm.... SGI.. are you asking if someone else can get the IP of a former cheater (and therefore aquire their ban)?? I'm not sure if this is possible or not. Again.. would a whole-wit answer this please? ;) Yes, it's possible, but unlikely. Every ISP has a limited quantity of IP numbers, so they are ...

2)If you get one of those dynamic DNS services it should run fine. I have seen a couple people do that. Usualy the IP does not change unless you restart or relog the machine. OK, that got me motivated enough to Google the dynamic DNS services. I found one for free (dynu.com), and it took all of abo...

#1: I haven't tried it in about a year, but I used to have a linux box running bzfs on a lan, worked fine. #2: floating IP should be ok, just change the 'publicaddr' param as needed. I thought DSL only changed when you reset the modem? #3:4 players should be fine, above that, you'll just have to exp...

server config question
Can someone help me make sense of the -mp (max players) option? I am running a server on cable modem and want to limit the players to 3 red and 3 green with a total maximum of 8 players (rouges taking up the slack, up to 8). I tried: -mp 8 -mp {,3,3,0,0} but that shows up as 3 red, 3 green, 11 total...
