The jump and shoot would be on the left so you could shoot and jump with 1 thumb. As for seeing chat and chatting, I guess there could be a small menu button somewhere where you could chat (that could also pop up when you die, under the "Tap to Spawn" message). You mean something like that?

the map is hosted publically by Allejo already. How about BZA will have a match there, let's say once a week. It will be open for everyone, and the names (along with scores) will be put up on the scoreboard (do need to make the board). Rules are like in UFC: 3, 5 minute rounds. Then the combined sco...

as far as logo being blurry, BZFlag does that whne you got 2 immages/surfaces close together (and you are far away). during actual gameplay the logo looks good.

simple octagon arena, like one seen in UFC fights. good dodging 1 vs 1 training. lots of ad space. 2 shots, no jumping, no rico, 2 second reload. NOTE: since this it a concept test version, most textures are on photobucket.com DownloadAccess.txt file might have to be edited to see all of them Screen...

Ratatosk, YOU have the texture in red :) it's in the folder where all bzflag game files/textures are. Follow Optic's advice, but use red_laser.png for the texture (you can also use blue_laser.png ; purple_laser.png ; or green_laser.png if you need). and by the way, you don't need to host/upload thos...

Those Bansky paintings are awesome! Nice how some artists can take something as plain and boring as a barricade and turn it into something nice.

use "-set _shotRange" to make tem go further
use "-set _reloadTime" to make them last longer, as it appears that shot life (in seconds) is equal to reload time.

done made a similar map. it's at http://my.bzflag.org/bb/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=13789 on forums. it's kinda like what apple is talking about, same idea, anyway. just without any fancy plug-ins :) edit: even though the test server was discussed, i don't think it was ever put up, or at least i haven...
