Re: Nürburgring Grand-Prix Stecke
Just for the record, it's called "Strecke" or more properly "Rennstrecke", but not "Stecke" which doesn't even exist as a noun in german language.

Re: LogDetail
Linux doesn't change the way plugins are made at all. It's just a change of tools to work with (and greater stability from the OS side). You still need to know C++ to be able to edit/write plugins and know how to use the console to actually build your plugins. I actually built logDetail (on windows)...

O i get it. Could you tell me what such stuff I could do to help development? These are the most common ways to contribute: Find real bugs in the game and report them to the sf.net tracker. If you can build a fixing patch for it. Discuss with the other developers which features are needed for the n...

- your team flags make you go faster - enemy team flags make you go slower - the black hexagons are horizontal teleporters tunnels back to your base - bonus points are awarded for base captures - each team gets two team flags So it's for BZFlag 3, I suppose!? Anyways, I like that Idea and that in f...

Are you downloading it from Sourceforge or http://my.bzflag.org/w/Download? And what OS? If it is from either of those places the issue is on your end. The cache file is cached by the client.
I woudl definitely use the cacheout as it's a lot smaller than the bzw.

I've heard something about this being possible with LUA in 3.0, but as far as I know it's not possible in 2.0.
You could still change the texture in your data folder ... but I guess that's not what you want.

Re: cacheout, cache, world and http?
replacing -world map.bzw with -cache http://myserver/path/to/map.out in the config.conf file -world must be in there, so the server knows what map you are playing with as the server doesnt read the http-file. 2- what is stored in the binary? The cacheout file contains all the data you've written to...

Re: help please- new player.
Possible explanation 1 : You are using a wireless connection to the internets. This will fragment the data your PC/Laptop is sendting to the server which causes jitter and lag (lag is the time it takes for the data to travel from your pc to the server; short time=good, long time=bad). Possible expl...

Re: ubuntu intel 945GM low framerate
Did a quick google and it looks like the driver name for this particular package is "intel", so you would be writing "intel" to the driver line. Good luck.

Those drivers are not installed or "i810" and "i910" are obsolete names for them.leviathan wrote:Code: Select all

Re: ubuntu intel 945GM low framerate
@Cobra_Fast: The "Identifier" line has no modifier to the operation of the driver or equipment, it's only there in case other sections of the xorg.conf file need to associate themselves with a specific video device (such as when using a multiple display setup). It's perfectly fine to leav...

Re: ubuntu intel 945GM low framerate
I can perfectly tell what went wrong: You edited the "Identifier"-Line without changing it's referrences. You would edit your generated Xorg.conf to the following: Section "Device" Identifier "Card0" Driver "i810" BusID "PCI:0:2:0" Option "XAANo...

This is an xorg.conf extract I forund around the ubuntu forums when I was searching for your graphics chipset. When googling for that SGI it appears most likely that it's a driver for Silicon Graphics or something like that. The extract shows that the driver you should be using is called "i810&...

Of course there is nothing physically preventing players from doing such a thing...except that current GU league rules say official matches are 30 min in length. If you want to be in the league, a player in good standing, AND have your matches count, it would behoove you to follow the rules. http:/...

Okay, I totally clicked around now. You did an awesome job by turning drupal into a league system. I personally dislike the slidedown boxes, maybe because I'm not used to them. It could definetely replace the good old webleague or ts's new closed source ( :( ) league system. So technically you're eq...
