Here's the option:Winny wrote:I never found a good capture program for Windows. The best I could find was Windows Media Encoder, but it appears they've removed the capture part from the program. Could be wrong, though.

Yeah, I don't think you can capture a video using WME. I believe you already have to have a video file for that to work. And no, I don't have access to a Mac. WME9 definitely has the option. I'll find where it is next time I boot Windows. Under Windows I use CamStudio in combination with ffdshow tr...

Re: BZFlag can't resolve DNS addresses
I recently upgraded to Tiger from Panther (Quicksilver 2002, yeah I know I'm behind the curve) and when did that BZFlag stopped working correctly (this was a fresh install, with BZFlag 2.0.10). It seems that there is a DNS address issue since I can only connect to games with a numeric IP address. I...

Re: freezing in leopard

Re: Setup for iMac
And he can't work out how to add a -window switch to the bzflag entry in his application menu. I can't help him either, since as a Windows and Linux user, I don't know where stuff is on the iMac (and I'm in a different country). I tried writing a bash script to start bzflag in a window for him, but...

Re: Unable to connect to any server during the evening
Hello From around the time of 5PM until 11PM I cannot connect to any BZFlag server, it just says "Trying to Connect" but nothing ever happens. I am still able to see the server list and browse the internet. My ISP is Pipex Homecall and I am using a NETGEAR DG834G Router connected through ...

Hmm, I replied to this post earlier but it doesn't appear. Thank you for all your responses. The energy saver feature looks interesting. Is this going to be a selectable feature? In the CVS version of BZFlag I have, it's a menu option: # Options->Display Settings->Energy Saver: On/Off It is also af...

This may also be the case if your video card is not especially fast. Itsnick wrote:So, if your video card is fast, and the
operating system allows it, the game will pummel your cpu.
all depends on the implementation details.

Re: bzflag.exe - cpu utilization > 90%
Lately I have been having trouble with lag. I attribute most of this to my ISP, (they see a problem but have yet to find a resolution). But after investigating a little, I've noticed when playing BZ for a few minutes, that my CPU fan will kick in and run continuously until I quit. I believe my lag ...
